This Privacy Policy describes the policies of Validomain, lda, Rua do Ribeiro, Nº8 Aldeia de Baixo, Portugal 5110-011 Amm, Portugal, email: info@pintahouse.com, phone: +351969216062 on the processing of personal data that we collect when you use our website pintahouse.com (hereinafter, the "Service").
We may change this Privacy Policy at any time without notice and will post the revised Privacy Policy on the website. The revised Policy will be effective 180 days after it is posted on the Site. We therefore encourage you to periodically review this page.
In general, our website only collects data that you voluntarily provide to us, for example, when you tell us at which e-mail address you would like to receive our offers, if you subscribe to the relevant service.
The only exception to this principle is the data collected by cookies on our website, about which you can find further information in our Cookie Policy.
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To formalise reservations or purchases of our products or services, manage them, execute their terms and conditions, and keep you informed about everything that may be of interest to you in relation to them.
- To subscribe you to our commercial communications service for offers and related information, when you voluntarily request us to do so.
- To deal with e-mails sent to our contact address, calls made to our contact telephone number, your messages, or your requests to exercise your rights.
- Notify you in the event that we become aware that your data may have been compromised.
In addition, we inform you that Google LLC, of which Google Ireland Ltd. is a subsidiary, is obliged to inform you that we use Google Analytics tools, and that this service is operated by Google Inc., a company located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and that Google Inc. is a beneficiary of these services.
The information generated by the statistical cookies about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. For more information, please refer to the page describing how Google uses the information on our website and/or Google's privacy policy for these services.
Please note that we have activated the IP anonymisation function in the Google Analytics service to add additional safeguards to the standard contractual clauses protecting this international transfer of data to the USA. This means that Google will shorten your IP address before transmitting it to the USA (obfuscation of your identity). Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google guarantees that the IP address transmitted by your browser to Google Analytics will not be processed together with any other data held by Google.
In general, we collect and process your data on the basis of the consent you explicitly give us when you provide us with your data for one of the purposes listed in the previous chapter (e.g. when you provide us with an e-mail address to subscribe to our offers). You may withdraw such consent at any time as indicated below in this policy, and the only consequence will be that you will no longer be able to use the service for which you provided us with your data from the moment we process the withdrawal of your consent.
The only three exceptions to the rule indicated in the previous paragraph are:
- The formalisation, management and execution of contracts for the reservation or purchase and sale of products or services that we offer you through this website, which is legitimised because it is necessary for the execution of said contract or for the establishment of pre-contractual clauses.
- The use of cookies necessary for the proper functioning of our website, about which you will find additional information in our Cookies Policy. The basis that legitimises the purposes indicated therein for each of these cookies is our legitimate interest.
- The communication of security breaches, which we will carry out by legal obligation described in the data protection regulations that apply to us.
We will not transfer your personal information to third parties without seeking your prior consent, for example, to download our own or third party statistical cookies on your device, or to use the data they contain in third party statistical tools.
We require such third parties to use the personal information we transfer to them only for the purpose for which it was transferred and not to retain it for longer than is necessary to fulfil that purpose.
We may also disclose your personal information for the following: (1) to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders or other legal process; (2) to enforce your agreements with us, including this Privacy Policy; (3) so that our service providers can provide them to us (for example, when we host this website off our premises, and that service provider stores your data or processes it in the cloud on our behalf); or (4) to respond to claims that your use of the Service violates any rights of third parties.
If the Service or our company merges with or is acquired by another company, your information will be one of the assets transferred to the new owner.
In general, we keep your personal data only for the duration of the processing operations that require it and thereafter for as long as it takes for any legal liabilities applicable to us from time to time arising from the processing in question to expire (including the obligation to be able to demonstrate that we have complied with your request for the destruction of personal data).
Personal data that we process because it is necessary for the performance of a contract will be retained for as long as there is a mutual interest in maintaining the purpose of the processing and for the maximum legal period permitted by data protection legislation, including the statute of limitations for legal action to address any liability that may arise from the contractual relationship. When it is no longer necessary for any purpose, it will be deleted with appropriate security measures to ensure its destruction.
Personal data that we process due to legal obligations will be retained for as long as we are subject to such obligations.
When a personal data is no longer required for any purpose it will be destroyed with security measures appropriate to its sensitivity .
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access your personal data and rectify or erase it or receive a copy of it, limit or object to the active processing of your data, ask us to share (port) your personal information to another entity, withdraw any consent you have given us to process your data, the right to lodge a complaint with a legal authority and other rights you may have under applicable law. To exercise these rights, you may write to us at info@pintahouse.com. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.
Please note that if you do not allow us to collect or process the required personal information or you withdraw consent to process it for the required purposes, you may not be able to access or use the services for which your information was requested.
For more information on how we use them and your choices in relation to these and other tracking technologies, please see our Cookie Policy.
The security of your information is important to us and we will use reasonable security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration of your information under our control. However, given the inherent risks, we cannot guarantee absolute security and, accordingly, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.
Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not address the privacy policy and other practices of those websites accessible through a link on the Service. We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policy of each site you visit through our website. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or generally the practices of any third party sites or services.
