Melro is a genuine old town house completely renovated and converted into a quiet Cottage House with wonderful charm. With friends or family, it will allow you to discover the wonderful destination of the Douro Valley, one of the oldest wine regions in the world and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
It has a connection with the local and typical atmosphere of the region. The reconstruction has preserved the structure of the house and added Pintahouse's genuine modern and avant-garde style.
The house is fully equipped to offer a comfortable and very comfortable stay. The outdoor pool and terrace are a key element to turn the stay into a memorable experience.

What to do.
The house was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Marina was responsive and communicating with her before and during our stay was easy. The property is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and offers nice views and privacy. It is a 6 minute drive to the small town of Armamar for basic supplies, 15 minutes to Peso da Régua, 25 minutes to Lamego, and 35 minutes to Pinhão.
